How a military family’s wandering years became a little camper under the oaks in Tampa.

where it started

From Italy to the Oaks

Good Fruit began as a dream during our family’s years in the military, living in some of the world’s great coffee places — from the espresso bars of Italy to the café culture of the Pacific Northwest. Somewhere along the way, a love of home brewing became a calling.

As our family grew, so did the vision: build something lasting, together, as a multigenerational team. So we came home to Tampa and opened a little coffee camper — rooted in craftsmanship, genuine hospitality, and experiences worth gathering around.

why "good fruit"?

Bear Good Fruit

Our name comes from Colossians 1:10 — a call to “bear good fruit.” For us that means loving people well and being a light in our corner of Tampa, one cup at a time. It’s on our cups, and it’s the whole point.

Today that mission is bigger than coffee: at the historic Bearss Groves stand we’ve built a gathering place — the coffee camper, our bakehouse, and the Good Fruit Collective, where local makers and neighbors come together every Slow Saturday.
